Spring has landed in our little neck of the woods and I couldn't be more thrilled. I love spring. The new plants, the spring rain, the sunshine and most wonderfully the amazing option of sending my boys outside to explore, get dirty and have fun!
Have I mentioned how much I love having boys? Seriously. Cuteness! I love the sounds of cars and trucks, the way they always want to wrestle with dad, how they take any and every opportunity to pee outside or to get naked, usually outside (we're working on trying to at least keep our under-roos on!). These boys do not learn these things, it is just who God made them and I love it!
This year in honor of spring I decided to do a bit of spring cleaning. I started "Operation Spring Clean" with an attack on the walls and ceiling of our family room. Having a wood stove means we have extra dirty walls. It is so nice to sit in here and feel clean and fresh - just like spring. The picture is much more dramatic that real life, but I like it, bring on the drama! The next step is to attack the kitchen, and get everything fresh in there too!
I read about starting plants in egg cartons and since we have a bunch I thought I'd try it. I can't believe how quickly these little guys are growing. I can't wait to plant them and enjoy all the little flowers!

Finally, I'll leave you with this photo of our littlest man. He's started solids, slowly and surely. He is getting so big! I can hardly believe it! Where has the time gone?!
