Rare Opportunity

This Sunday we were all ready for church a bit early and looking especially cute so we took the rare opportunity to get a family photo and picture of the boys. None of them turned out amazing, but maybe after a bit of photo-shoping they'll be "Christmas Card" worthy.

In other news we had a great Thanksgiving with the fam. Loads of yummy food and good football. It was a lot of fun, gotta love the holiday season!

The food spread. Yum, yum!

All of the great grand-kids on my Mom's side.

Playing with their cousin Kallen's toys.
They had a blast and we are so thankful we got to stay with my sister and her family. Thanks a MILLION Kate!

Snow!

As we headed off to bed Sunday night the snow had started falling and was gathering gradually. The weatherman had said it would start to pile up by mid-afternoon the next day, but Monday morning found us with about 4 inches and little boys itching to get out there and enjoy. So we bundled up and headed out.

We ended the morning watching all the little birdies eat their lunch. Yeah! I love the snow!

Our Little Cutie

This kid. He is TOO cute. We can't get enough of his cheeky grins and random sign language. Seriously, look at him! He is too much! Just thought you'd like to join in the obsession.

Three Years Old!

Its official. All my boys are a year older. Well, a year old in William's case, but you know what I mean. Yep, today Benson turned 3. Its hard to believe he is so old and that so much time has passed since that day in a Moroccan clinic.

We celebrated in style. Inviting all the cousins on Joey's side over for cake and presents. Since there are 11 and counting there is no reason to invite any other friends. 11 is pleanty. Believe me. Benson had a great time, got some GREAT gifts and ended the day doing his favorite thing ever - watching "Peppa Pig". It was a wonderful day and now I'm ready to enjoy the holidays.
Bring on the Pumpkin pie!

"Today I am 3!"

Train cake.

Making a wish.
All the cousins enjoying cake.

"Awesome!"

Whew, its over. :-)

William turns 1

Wednesday was William's 1st birthday. Its hard to believe how quickly time has gone by and all that has happened since that day in Northern Ireland! I am not a huge fan of the 1st birthday party, but we have a few family traditions that we always do for the 1st party. So, we gathered whoever was around last night for cake, pie and a few presents.

William LOVED getting to have his own cake to enjoy.

He ate half of it and would have kept going, but the older kids were anxious to see what presents he got.
Luckily William has two older brothers to help him open presents, cuz he had no idea what to do with those paper covered things.

All in all it was a great little birthday. We're looking forward to celebrating Benson's birthday next week and then we're done for a while. Maybe our next kid should be born in the summer or something, three birthdays in three weeks is just a little bit much :-)
