Happy New Year!

Hard to believe the end of a year, the end of a decade is here. Its always good to look back over the year and remember what has happened. I looked through all the family photos just to help my "diaper" brain along memory lane. (Us moms need that from time to time - help that is.) It is really miraculous how God has carried us through this year. 2010 was full of so many great memories, big changes and exciting times. I couldn't be more thankful for what God has done. I picked out a few of my favorite photos from the year. They didn't upload in order, and well there are a few...so, just enjoy and hopefully they'll compel you to praise the Lord with me!

2011 is setting itself up to be another year of amazing provision by God. I don't really know what it holds, but I am excited to see what adventures He brings our way. Praying & hoping each of you has an incredible year. Happy New Year!

Christmas Photo Recap

Christmas has come and gone already. Its hard to believe how quickly time goes by. We had a wonderful Christmas split among our various family, which means a lot of travel, but lots of fun too! We started off down with my family.

My Mom's beautiful tree, and my "little" brother TJ.

Cousin time at its best - trying to get the fish in Grandpa's pond.
A few tries at getting Cousin pictures.
I have no idea what is happening here, but I love it.
Twins?
William is already working on his ABC's
The highlight of the entire Christmas. Airplane, Aircraft Carrier combo. YES!

Then we headed back up to be with Joey's family.

Stocking Time

Dad got a slinky in his stocking, William LOVED it.

Candy Canes for breakfast.

A few of the cousins

Christmas dinner at the kids table. Can you say insanity?

Joey got a new lens for his Camera, isn't the quality amazing?!

The most special Christmas gift. Cousin Norah, born 12-11-10. Needless to say Benson is in love with her. Isn't she a cutie?!

Now we begin recovering from all of the celebration. Hope you all had great times with family and friends. Merry Christmas!

Beach Trip

Last week we got the opportunity to go to the Oregon Coast with my family. My parents have a time share and were so kind as to share it with us. So we met up and got to hang out. The weather wasn't great, but the room couldn't have been better. Right outside our patio was a kids pool that was heated and only a foot deep. They got to play and get their wiggles out while we sat indoors and watched. Like I said, great!

We also got to walk along the coast and enjoy the slightly stormy weather. I LOVE the Oregon coast, especially when it is a bit windy and rainy. There is seriously nothing like it. I know, I know some of you think the only way to experience the beach is with sun, warmth and swimming suits. I however would choose the wind and rain any day. Its so beautiful and unexpected. I love the way the waves crash against the sand in brilliant unison with the storm raging around it. The Beach becomes littered with shells, seaweed and various other sea life. Maybe its just the sheer power reminding me of where I stand in relation to our all-powerful God, I don't know, but I love it.

All in all it was a wonderful couple of days. I just love getting to spend time with family and letting the cousins get to hang out. I hope we'll get to go again soon and have more fun!
