Seahawks!

The benefits of owning/working at a coffee shop are endless. Free coffee, free bagels, lots of friends, free Seahawks tickets. Yep, free Seahawks tickets! Some dear customer gave Joey and I free tickets to last Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. We've always wanted to go to a game, but it wasn't really in the budget so we'd watch from home and talk about going someday. Someday came last week and we were thrilled!

We packed up Saturday afternoon and headed up to a nice hotel in Sea Tac. Right, so Sea Tac isn't really known for its amazing views or well, really anything except the airport maybe. But Joey found a nice hotel tucked in to 17 acres in the middle of Sea Tac. It was really nice, and they had free Hogen daz so, we didn't have anything to complain about. We rode the light rail up to downtown Seattle, ate a yummy dinner at the Tap House Grill (highly recommend it!) and then enjoyed quietly watching TV with no little voices needing things :-)

Sunday found us attending church and then off to the game. We had great seats and it was such a blast. The first half left much to be desired, the Hawks were sucking it up big time. But the second half was great! They managed to pull off a big win and hopefully this will just continue. Guess I am turning into a NFL fan after all!
